One of the CHPA Values is to be a Big Dreamer!  To develop this in pupils, throughout the year we welcome visitors who talk about their school days, lives and experiences that have lead them to become the people they are today, in order to inspire pupils to want to aspire and make a positive contribution to the community, city, region, county, continent and world.

We also liaise with various providers to ensure pupils get lots of different ‘life and work’ based experiences through our links with Sheffield University, Sheffield Hallam University, STEM Society, Amazelabs, Maths Roadshows, community groups and many more.

A special event, which began in 2023, is our Inspire to Aspire event, where we invite former pupils, parents, local and national dignitaries, celebrities and people who we feel will have an inspirational effect on pupils.
