At CHPA home learning activities are set to support and develop the knowledge, skills understanding and interests of pupils. However, we appreciate that children have very busy lives and undertake many different activities outside of CHPA life, which provide them with a huge number of opportunities, achievements and experiences.
On a weekly basis pupils will be expected to complete the following;
Read with a parent, carer, family member at least 5 times per week.
Practise and learn given times-tables, number tasks (as appropriate to year group).
On occasions, other home learning activities, to support specific learning may be required.
Pupils across CHPA, will have the opportunity to undertake booster sessions to support the development of their English and Maths knowledge, skills and understanding. You will be informed when these are timetabled to take place.
To support home & remote learning, every pupil has log-in details for Reading Eggs.
In KS1 all pupils have Maths Seeds log-in details, with KS2 having Mathsletics log-ins.
All pupils have Times Table Rock Stars Log-in details.
