Charnock Hall Primary Academy PTA are pleased to announce that a CHPA Uniform Swap-Shop has been created. The Swap-Shop is situated outside the doors to the main office entrance and will be open during CHPA hours from 8am-4pm, for you to visit and use as needed.
The Swap-Shop shed has been purchased with funds from Sheffield City Council and internal storage by the PTA to re-use and recycle clothing donated by CHPA parents. This project has been a labour of love for the PTA and staff who have spent time preparing this new facility. A facility, that we hope will be well used by CHPA families.
There is no charge for any item but donations are welcome and all money will go back into funding the Swap-Shop.
If you want to use the Swap-Shop, you do not have to come into the office, just come through the main gate and then you’ll be able to access the Swap-Shop yourselves.
When entering the swap-shop you will see a number of storage boxes to your right and in front of you. These boxes have uniform items in them that have been sorted by size and type (i.e. polo t-shirt, cardigan, jumper), so please look for the box you require and take what you need.
We only ask that you are mindful and take what you really need as stock is limited.
The Swap-Shop is only a small space so we keep a stock of other items inside, if you can’t find what you are looking for, the PTA will restock the Swap-Shop each Monday morning.
Above your head, as you enter the Swap-Shop, there is a sensor light that will turn on/off automatically.
If you have any uniform items you no longer need, there is the possibility to donate this within the Swap-Shop and items can go in the donation bin. Also, if you take an item and find you can’t use it, please return any item back in the donation bin for them to be sorted and recycled.
We hope that this new facility will support families that use this it as we all know that the cost of living at this time is very high and money is tighter for everyone.
