On Monday Y1 went on a trip to Sheffield City Centre to visit and learn about the different Sheffield landmarks. Pupils have been learning about London in their “Bright Lights, Big Cities” topic, learning about the different landmarks and the interesting facts related to them. On the trip to Sheffield, we travelled by tram and pupils visited and compared the landmarks to those in London. They particularly found it interesting that Sheffield cathedral is also called St Pauls, just like London!
The behaviour and enthusiasm to learn displayed by Y1 was amazing and really did Charnock proud!
Well done Y1.
