On Friday 5th May we celebrated the Kings Charles III Coronation at CHPA. We started the day off with an assembly where we sang the song, ‘To The Sound of Trumpets’ (Coronation Song). For lunch we had a delicious tea party and in the afternoon each class honoured the King by taking part in different activities. Reception made crowns and had a parade and most other classes drew self-portraits of the king and crowns. Every child also received a commemorative bookmark from our lovely PTA to remember this significant event.
A truly memorable day.
